Multi-talented Māori artist Shane Te Ruki describes his new Puna jewellery range as “Gems from beneath the surface”.
The Puna range is a collection of silver earrings, cufflinks, bracelets and pendant designs embodying traditional Māori themes in a contemporary form. The range creatively mixes koru, tukutuku and kōwhaiwhai designs. Each piece is manufactured in silver accompanied by a story which reflects the purpose and explanation behind each design.
